Differences between online and download tests

The online and download tests look exactly the same, so once you have launched your test you will find the same features and options in both versions.

However, there are some differences between the two modes that you should consider:

Internet connection.
  • Online Practice Test: you must be connected to the Internet to use the product.
  • Download Practice Test: you do not need to be connected to the Internet to use this version. You only need an internet connection the first time you use so you can download it.
Expiration dates,
  • Online Practice Test: the expiration depends on the online version you have purchased.
  • Download Practice Test: once it is installed you will have access to it for as long as you keep it installed on your computer(s). It may be installed on up to three computers.
How to run a product.
  • Online Practice Test: you launch the test through your Learning Locker on www.measureup.com.
  • Download Practice Test: you install the test directly to your computer and access it by clicking an icon on your desktop.

  1. Access www.measureup.com.
  2. Click on Sign In.
  3. Click on SIGN IN.
  4. Type your credentials, and click on SIGN IN.
  5. Click on Learning Locker button.
  6. Register the Product key.
  7. Click on the product icon.
  8. Click on Begin Test.

  2. Click on  Sign In.
  3. Click on SIGN IN.
  4. Type your credentials, and click on SIGN IN
  5. Click on Learning Locker.
  6. Register the Product key.
  7. Click on the product icon.
  8. Click on the Download button.
  9. Choose where save the file and click Save.
  10. Click on the Launcher.bat file to open your test.

As we have already mentioned, once you have launched your test you will find the same features and options in both versions.

How to apply updates.
  • Online Practice Tests: the updates are applied automatically.
  • Download Practice Test: in order to apply any update to a download test, you will need to download it again by following these steps:
    1. First, delete the product from your computer. It is located in the folder you selected when you installed it on your hard drive.
    2. Go to your Learning Locker and clear cache (review the before steps).
    3. Download your test again, by clicking on the Download button and follow the onscreen instructions.
