How to review and edit a question

Editing questions in the MeasureUp Authoring Tool: From tests or the questions section

Authoring Tool allows to edit a question in two ways:

From a test

Steps

1)  From the Home screen, click on Tests.
2) Search for the test, and click on the Edit icon.
3) Expand the Objective tab and the Sub-objective tab.
4) Search for the question, and click on the Edit icon.

 
From the Questions section

Steps

This post is focused on the second option:

Note. What you see here is restricted according to your role. At the very least, you can see the questions that you create.
1) From the Home screen, click Questions.
2) Search the question (by Question type, by name or use the advanced filters).
3) Click on the 3 dots in the middle column.
4) Click on Edit.


 

From here the steps are common to both methods:

1) You will then see the question in Edit mode.
2) Edit the question. You can modify the Stem, the options, the right answers, etc. 
3) Click on SAVE.

 

 

In the History tab, you can review the change history from this question. 

You can see changes made to every part of the question by each user.

You can expand each section to see the changes:
  • Deletions are shown with yellow highlighting.
  • Additions and changes are highlighted with green.

The changes are shown word by word. So, the revisions are easier and faster.
