How to take a new attempt at a practice test
Retake options in MeasureUp Learn: Customize your Practice Test attempts
MeasureUp Learn offers improved retake options to better suit the needs of all users.
Launch a new attempt from scratch
Important: Practice test attempts are unlimited as long as the test remains active. Students are encouraged to use this flexibility to reinforce learning and build confidence before taking the real exam. |
This option does not take previous attempts into account. To launch it:
- From the Dashboard: Select the practice test and click Start Now.
- From the Training Library: Locate the practice test and click Start Now.
Launch an attempt based on previous results
MeasureUp Learn allows you to configure a new attempt that considers your previous activity. To do this:
1) Go to the Dashboard.
2) In the Learning Analysis section, click the Retake Test tab.
3) If needed, expand the retake options.
4) Choose one of the available options:
- Incorrect Questions: Launches an attempt with all previously answered incorrectly.
- Unanswered Questions: Includes questions that were seen but not answered.
- Unseen Questions: Includes questions that haven’t appeared in any previous attempt.
- Specific Skill Group: Launches an attempt with questions from selected skill groups.
Alternative method: To launch an attempt focused on a single objective, go to the Objectives tab and click Practice next to the desired objective. |
- Full Test: Launches a complete test, ignoring previous attempts.
- Certification Mode: Launches a new attempt directly in Certification Mode.
Launch an attempt based on previous result
You can also launch a new attempt directly from your previous test results or via the Reports menu:
1) In the left-hand menu, click Reports.2) Select the relevant practice test.
3) Expand the Retake Options menu and choose your preferred retake type.
Note: If you want to base your retake on a specific previous attempt, click Review Attempts, select the desired session, and choose the appropriate retake option. |
