How to use a practice test

Navigating a Practice Test attempt: Tools, features, and submission process

Once you’ve configured your practice test settings, click Launch Test to begin your attempt.

During the test, you’ll have access to several tools from the top menu bar:

  • Use the arrows next to the Question field to go to the next question or return to the previous one.
  • Tutorial. Opens a guide explaining the interface and available buttons.
  • Test Summary. Displays the status of all questions in your attempt — whether they’ve been answered, marked for review, or left unanswered.
  • Timer. Shows a countdown based on the time limit you previously set. If no time limit was configured, this option will not appear.
  • Personal Notes. Allows you to take private notes during the test. These notes are only visible to you.
  • Full Screen. Enables full-screen mode for a distraction-free experience.
  • Settings. Let’s you adjust the test configuration (only available in Practice Mode).
  • Test Actions. Allows you to pause, quit, or finish the test.
Question Area

In the question area, you’ll see the question text and answer options. If you’re in Practice Mode and have enabled answer visibility, you’ll also see a Show Answer button. Clicking it will reveal:

  • The correct answer
  • Your selected answer
  • An Explanation section with a detailed rationale and external links for further learning
Additional Tools for Each Question

Each question includes three helpful buttons:

  • Information. View details about the question, including its objective and sub-objective, what you’ll learn from it, and its status.
  • Feedback. Submit feedback if you believe the question could be improved.

Note: This feature is not intended for resolving doubts or support inquiries.
  • Mark to Review. Highlight the question for later review. It will appear flagged in the Test Summary.

When you reach the final question of a practice test attempt, the Finish Test button will appear, allowing you to end your attempt.

Note: You can also finish the attempt at any time by clicking Test Actions > Finish Test.
Test Summary Before Submitting

After clicking Finish Test, a Test Summary screen will appear before the results are shown. This summary provides a quick overview of the status of each question:

  • Answered
  • Marked for Review
  • Pending

If you’ve left any questions unanswered or marked for review and wish to revisit them, click on the corresponding filter box. The summary will then display only those questions. Click on any question to open it and make changes before submitting your attempt.

Once you’ve reviewed all desired questions, click Submit Test to finalize your attempt and view the Score Report.
